EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Presence in Leadership
Leadership asks us to navigate complexity, relationships and change while remaining connected to ourselves, others and what matters. I work primarily with executive leaders, and also with teams and organizations to cultivate effective leadership.
Effective presence in leadership can support increased self-awareness, relational capacity and more intentional ways of responding, deciding and leading with impact.

A DIFFERENT APPROACH
Leadership from a Deeper Place
Leadership is not only shaped by what we know or what we do. It is also influenced by how we meet complexity, relationships and change.
My approach brings together evidence based psychological insight, embodied awareness, creativity and practical steps to develop effective presence in leadership. The work creates space for leaders to understand the patterns influencing how they lead and to develop greater clarity, flexibility and choice.

HOW WE CAN WORK TOGETHER
What I offer
Engagements are shaped through an initial conversation about your organization’s context, leadership priorities and what you hope to explore.
Executive Leadership Development
Individual and group engagements that support greater presence, relational leadership, decision-making and growth. Through reflection, experiential learning and creative exploration, leaders develop greater awareness of how they lead and the choices available to them.
Engagements may include individual leadership sessions or a series of facilitated conversations with leadership teams.
Keynotes
Thought-provoking talks exploring presence, self-awareness, creativity and effective leadership, inviting audiences to reflect on how they navigate complexity, relationships and change.
Available as keynote presentations or shorter talks for leadership meetings, retreats and organizational events.
Custom Engagements
Programs, retreats, facilitated experiences or ongoing work developed around the context and goals of an organization.
These may take the form of a focused workshop, a half-day leadership experience or a facilitated team retreat.
More space to notice.
More choice in how we respond.
A more human way of leading.
Support your leaders in how they respond under pressure, listen to their teams and approach difficult conversations. ARTMA brings self-awareness, reflection and creativity into leadership development, with space to practice responding thoughtfully to the demands of the workday.
EVIDENCE + EXPERIENCE
Rooted in Evidence, Informed by Experience
The work is informed by research across psychology, leadership, relationships and human development, alongside experience spanning science, psychotherapy, education, creativity and organizational life.
Research in Practice
In 2021, an exploratory project with employees at NEO Stock Exchange examined how creative and reflective practices could support people experiencing workplace stress. It is documented in my graduate thesis.
Participant feedback highlighted self-awareness, coping with stress and the value of reflection. These early findings inform ARTMA’s approach to leadership development that now goes beyond workplace stress.

Experience in Practice
Ten years as a senior geophysicist and team leader in the fast-paced oil and gas industry included building teams, navigating project demands and delivering projects internationally. This experience informs my understanding of decision-making, relationships, leading through complexity and being able to understand the responsibilities leaders carry.
Today, I bring that experience into the work I do with leaders. I also teach the business course in a graduate-level training program at the Toronto Art Therapy Institute, helping emerging therapists build sustainable practices and effectively lead their professional work.
